I am Solicitor in the Family Department, having joined the Firm in September 2018 as a Trainee. Prior to that I was employed as a Paralegal at an international Law Firm in both their Newcastle and London offices from 2016 until 2018, working on a number of high-profile transactions and disputes. I was admitted as a solicitor in October 2019.
Since qualification I have specialised in Family Law and maintain a wide and varied caseload. I take pride in offering clear, professional advice that is tailored to each individual.
As a student, I volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau and am now on the rota for our local branch. I also sit on the South Tyneside Domestic Abuse Forum, where I work with other professionals and agencies to provide support to victims of domestic abuse.
Qualifications
I graduated from Newcastle University in 2015 with an LLB (Hons) and then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University in 2016.
Areas of Expertise
Whilst I advise on all aspects of Family Law, I have a particular interest in:
- Domestic Abuse;
- Child Arrangements including to Live With, Spend Time With and Specific Issues and Prohibited Steps;
- Care Proceedings and Child Protection; and
- Divorce, Separation and Dissolution of Civil Partnerships.
