I am a Solicitor within the Wills and Probate Department, having qualified in December 2023. As a newly qualified solicitor, I am now part of our Wills and Probate team, where I help clients with various matters, including drafting Wills, representing clients in contested Wills cases, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.
Prior to joining the Firm, I was based in a Conveyancing Department of a Law Firm in Durham. That role involved assisting on an extensive caseload of residential sales and purchases.
I also assist the local Citizens Advice Bureau, by providing confidential advice on a wide variety of legal issues.
I like to get to know the needs of my clients. It helps me understand how I can help them with their legal matters and enables me to provide a professional and friendly service.
I graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2019 with an LLB (Hons). I went on to complete my Masters in Law combined with the Legal Practice Course (LLM) in 2020. As part of my degree, I was a student advisor within the Sunderland Student Law Office, providing legal advice on family and employment matters.
I look after our free Will writing service, supporting Cancer Research UK. The ‘Free Will Service’ allows anyone 18+ to easily write or update a simple Will for free.
