Carolyne Hargreaves
I qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and have specialised in Family Law since that time. I joined PGS Law in 2011. I am a Partner, Head of the Family Department and the Legal Aid Supervisor for the firm.
I believe in supporting my clients to find effective and pragmatic solutions to the challenges they face.
Qualifications
I hold an LLB (Hons) 2:1 and went on to complete a Master of Economic and Social Studies in Criminology and Criminal Justice (Distinction) prior to completing the Legal Practice Course.
Professional Memberships
I am a member of the Law Society Family Law Advanced and Children Law Accreditation schemes and represent both adults and children.
I am also a member of Resolution and subscribe to their code of conduct.
Areas of Expertise
Whilst I advise on all aspects of Family Law, I have a particular interest in:
- Divorce /separation and financial relief arising from the same;
- Cohabitation Disputes;
- Care Proceedings;
- Pre-Nuptial and Post Nuptial agreements;
- Child Arrangements including Residence, Contact and Specific Issues and Prohibited Steps; and
- Adoption.
